Ahead of the Pongal festival, Southern Railway has announced that special trains will be operated from January 8th for the convenience of passengers. Additional special trains will be operated to major cities including Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, and Tirunelveli. Reservations will begin tomorrow (January 4th) at 8 AM.
