The Meteorological Department has stated that there is a possibility of rain accompanied by strong winds today and tomorrow in 14 districts, including Chennai. Rain is forecast for northern districts such as Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, and Cuddalore.
