Orange Alert for Chennai: With the onset of the Southwest Monsoon, widespread rainfall has been occurring in the districts of Tamil Nadu bordering the Western Ghats. Amidst this, an ‘Orange Alert’ has been issued for Chennai and its surrounding districts for the next two hours.
