The 100-day employment guarantee scheme, renamed as the VB-G RAM G Act, was passed in the Rajya Sabha yesterday. The bill was passed amidst strong opposition from the opposition parties. Following this, Trinamool Congress MPs staged an all-night protest in the Parliament complex against the bill.
