Thiruvallur MP Sasikanth Senthil, who had been on a four-day hunger strike protesting the Centre’s failure to release ₹2,152 crore in education funds due to Tamil Nadu, has ended his protest. He announced his decision to withdraw following requests from Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, and others.
