Actress Meera Mitun, who was arrested in a case for making derogatory remarks against members of the Scheduled Castes, was produced before the Chennai Principal Sessions Court yesterday. During the hearing, the arrest warrant issued against her was withdrawn, and the police raised no objections to the court’s decision.
