Low Pressure Area: The Regional Meteorological Centre has said a low pressure area is likely to form over the southwest Bay of Bengal on May 11. Due to this development, orange alerts have been issued for several districts across Tamil Nadu, from Chennai to Kanyakumari, warning of heavy rainfall over the next one week.
