Gold price have dropped sharply again today. In Chennai, the price of a sovereign of ornamental gold has decreased by Rs. 800, bringing the selling price to Rs. 1,04,800. The price per gram of ornamental gold has fallen by Rs. 100, selling at Rs. 13,100. Meanwhile, the price of silver in Chennai remains unchanged, selling at Rs. 240 per gram.
