Cyclone Murasu, which has formed in the Bay of Bengal, is approaching the southern Andhra Pradesh region. In light of this, the Chennai Meteorological Centre has issued a warning that Chennai and Thiruvallur will experience rain accompanied by strong winds blowing at a speed of 50 km/h.
