Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin today launched the expansion of the ₹1,000 monthly Rights Grant Scheme for women heads of households, adding 17 lakh new beneficiaries. With this rollout, the total number of women receiving the monthly assistance has increased to 1.34 crore across the state. The scheme aims to provide financial support and economic stability to families led by women.
