The Tiruvarur court has sentenced P.R. Pandian, the Chairman of the Coordination Committee of All Farmers’ Associations in Tamil Nadu, to 13 years of imprisonment. Following the verdict, police went to his house to take him into custody. During this, a person who accompanied him caused a commotion, creating tension at the spot. Police then instructed him to remain calm and took him away.
