Tamil Nadu government has increased the pension for retired temple employees to ₹5,000 and family pension to ₹2,500. CM M.K. Stalin distributed cheques to over 3,000 retirees and 769 family pensioners, including EPF beneficiaries, as part of welfare measures under the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Department.
