A young woman from Vellore was raped by a youth while she was staying at a lodge with her friend in Nungambakkam, Chennai, while she was intoxicated. The woman woke up early in the morning and found out that she had been raped because of the injuries to her genitals. Based on the complaint filed by the young woman, her friend and an agricultural department employee have been arrested.
