Karunanidhi: While speaking in the Legislative Assembly today, Chief Minister Vijay alleged that former Chief Minister Kalaignar Karunanidhi had accepted a bribe of ₹29 lakh in installments, citing the Sarkaria Commission report as evidence. However, members of the DMK have stated that the report actually indicates there is no concrete evidence to prove Kalaignar accepted a bribe.
