High Court Madurai Bench has directed the Tamil Nadu government to state its stance regarding the lighting of the lamp on the Thirupparankundram hill. On behalf of the petitioner, Rama Ravikumar, it was submitted to the court that there is confidence that the current government will light the lamp.
