In Vaniyambadi, located in Tirupattur district, 8 people who received treatment at a private dental clinic reportedly died consecutively in 2023. An investigation into the matter revealed that the cause was the improper sterilization of dental equipment and the use of the same tools on multiple patients without proper hygiene.
