Atmospheric Circulation: The Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a heavy rain alert for 12 districts in Tamil Nadu due to an atmospheric circulation prevailing over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining regions. Chennai is also likely to receive rainfall today and tomorrow, according to the weather department.
