A low-pressure area with an associated atmospheric circulation over the Arabian Sea is likely to bring rainfall to parts of southern Tamil Nadu and the Western Ghats region today, according to the Chennai Meteorological Centre. The weather office has indicated that due to this system, light to moderate rain is expected in several southern districts of the state.
