Due to the influence of easterly atmospheric waves extending from the Kanyakumari sea region to the north Kerala coast, Chennai may receive rainfall in a few places today and tomorrow. The Meteorological Department has also stated that rain is expected to continue in parts of Tamil Nadu until the 27th.
