During the Tamil Nadu Assembly session, Food Minister Sakkarapani announced that paddy procurement has reached record levels this year across both Delta and non-Delta districts. He said the cultivation area has expanded to 6.37 lakh acres, marking a historic achievement. The minister credited CM Stalin’s direct intervention and infrastructure expansion for the success.
