Chennai Metro Director Siddique stated that a trial run is planned for the second half of January on the stretch from Vadapalani to Poonamallee. Therefore, it is confirmed that the metro train will be running between Vadapalani and Porur in January itself. However, passengers will not be able to alight at the intermediate stations.
