The Chennai Meteorological Centre has reported the formation of a low-pressure area over South Andaman and its adjoining regions. It is expected to move west–northwest and become a depression over the southeast Bay of Bengal on November 24. By November 26, it may further intensify into a cyclone, according to the weather department.
