The Madurai branch of the Madras High Court has stated in a case that officials are indirectly helping those involved in bribery cases by delaying departmental action. Three people, including Saravanan, were suspended from the Karur Electricity Board for accepting bribes. The High Court has expressed its opinion on the case against the memo issued in this regard.
