Due to increasing frauds involving Aadhaar cards, the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) is implementing several preventive measures. An official from UIDAI has stated that a major update for Aadhaar cards is being considered to completely curb misuse related to Aadhaar numbers, addresses, and other personal details.
