The Madras High Court has directed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to respond within six weeks to petitions filed by lottery businessman Martin challenging the attachment of assets worth ₹457 crore. The case is linked to an alleged lottery scam that reportedly caused a loss of ₹910 crore to the Sikkim government.
