Women’s Reservation: The Union Government is actively working to bring into force the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ (Reservation for Women), which ensures a 33 percent reservation for women. In this regard, the number of parliamentary constituencies is set to be increased to 816.
