The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rain with thunderstorms in Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, and Kanyakumari districts. Light to moderate rain expected across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal till November 12 due to atmospheric circulation over the Gulf of Mannar.
