Palaniswami has urged both the Central and Tamil Nadu governments to reduce taxes on petrol, diesel, and LPG cylinders following the recent fuel price hike triggered by rising crude oil prices due to the Gulf conflict. He stated that the increase would severely affect common people and lead to a rise in essential commodity prices.
