Advocate Prasnav filed a case in the Madras High Court challenging the government’s permission to a private company to build an apartment complex on the Pallikaranai swamp land. The Madras High Court, which heard the case, had imposed an interim stay on the construction of a residential complex on the swamp land. The judges have ordered an extension of this stay.
