The toll hike has come into effect at a total of 46 toll booths in Tamil Nadu from this morning. At the Kaniyur toll booth adjacent to Coimbatore, a toll of Rs. 125 is being charged per car. At the same time, at the Paranur toll booth adjacent to Chennai, the one-way and return tolls for cars and jeeps have not been increased.
