Cow Slaughter Ban: Tamil Nadu Police has informed the Madras High Court that steps have been taken to enforce the ban on cow and calf slaughter across the state ahead of Bakrid. Authorities have also intensified monitoring and restricted animal slaughter to licensed slaughterhouses only.
