The Pongal festival was celebrated this year under the auspices of the Taiwan Tamil Sangam at the Cheng Yung Fa Foundation indoor auditorium in Taipei last Saturday. The event brought together members of the Tamil community in Taiwan to mark the harvest festival with traditional rituals and cultural programmes.
