In a manner reminiscent of the movie *Lucky Bhaskar*, an employee of a nationalized bank has swindled ₹11.50 crore. This incident took place at Odaipatti, near Chinnamanur in Theni district. The police have registered a case against the branch manager for embezzling ₹11.5 crore by sanctioning fraudulent gold loans.
