Ahead of the Diwali festival, Minister Sekar Babu inaugurated firecracker sales on Chennai Island. He also stated that the prices of the firecrackers have been set to allow a profit margin of 5 to 10 percent over the purchase cost, ensuring regulated pricing for buyers.
