The Electricity Board has imposed a fine of Rs. 42,571 on Tiruppur DMK Mayor Dinesh Kumar. The DMK has imposed this fine on a complaint of electricity theft. The fine has been imposed on a complaint of illegally stealing electricity for house construction work. However, Mayor Dinesh Kumar has denied the charges against him.
