Police Constable Nayak Dharmaraj from Thoothukudi, who had come to play a musical instrument at the Independence Day celebrations held at Fort St. George in Chennai, suddenly collapsed. He was immediately admitted to the hospital but passed away as treatment proved unsuccessful.
