Following continuous heavy rainfall in the Nellai and Tenkasi districts over the past two days, the water level in the Thamirabarani river has increased. The Thamirabarani river is experiencing flooding, with 5000 cubic feet of water flowing over the Srivaikuntam dam and into the sea.
