Tamil Nadu police have stated that, in accordance with the DGP’s orders, various intensive measures have been taken against criminals across Tamil Nadu. A total of 1,328 individuals involved in criminal activities were arrested and remanded to judicial custody. 202 offenders linked to drug-related offenses were arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
