The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that light to moderate rain is likely at a few places in coastal Tamil Nadu and in Puducherry and Karaikal regions on the 24th and 25th. Light to moderate rain is also expected in the Delta and southern coastal districts of Tamil Nadu and in the Karaikal region on the 26th and 27th, and in southern Tamil Nadu and the Delta districts on the 28th.
