The CBI had registered a case in 2018 against Nadella Sampath Jewellery in Chennai’s Thyagarayanagar, for allegedly defrauding the State Bank of India by taking loans worth crores. the Enforcement Directorate handed over the frozen assets worth Rs. 163 crore to the bank in the SBI case.
