Umar Khalid, the former JNU student leader and activist, has approached the Supreme Court of India challenging the Delhi High Court’s order that denied him bail in the 2020 Delhi riots “larger conspiracy” case framed under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
