The demand to connect Chennai’s Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS), with the Chennai Metro Rail network has been dragging on for a long time as the Indian Railways Board has yet to give in-principle approval, senior officials of the Chennai Combined Metropolitan Transport Authority (CUMTA) told a news agency in an interview.
