The Chennai Corporation has decided to impose a fine of Rs. 1,000 if pet dogs are not muzzled when brought into public places in Chennai. The corporation has decided to take this step to tighten the rules following complaints that there are frequent incidents of pet and stray dogs harming the public in Chennai.
