The arappor iyakkam has filed a case alleging that a ₹397 crore transformer procurement scam took place during the tenure of the then Power Minister Senthil Balaji between 2021 and 2023. The Madras High Court, which heard the case, has ordered the filing of the Anti-Corruption Department report and the tender committee meeting minutes.
