A woman police officer and a journalist in Thoothukudi allegedly blackmailed a traffic sub-inspector using private WhatsApp videos and demanded ₹10 lakh. The officer’s wife filed a complaint, leading to a case against five people. Police have launched an investigation under the orders of SP Albert John.
