Strict action will be taken against those who take videos or photographs in areas including the 18 steps at the Sabarimala Ayyappan temple. It has been ordered that videos and photographs should not be taken at the Sopanam, the temple courtyard, and the Malikappuram area. The police have imposed a ban on taking videos and photographs using mobile phones and cameras, based on a High Court order.
