Vijay–Sangeetha dispute has sparked fresh debate after actor and politician S. Ve. Shekher said that Sangeetha Sornalingam should have filed a complaint at a police station instead of approaching the court to seek permission to stay at Vijay’s house in Neelankarai. He claimed that if a police complaint had been filed, Vijay could have even faced arrest.
