Justice GR Swaminathan has dismissed the contempt of court case against the District Collector and others for failing to implement the order regarding conducting worship at a temple in Perumalkovilpatti, Dindigul, which is embroiled in a land dispute. The contempt of court case was dismissed because a two-judge bench had issued an interim stay on the single judge’s order.
