In West Bengal, the Mamata Banerjee-led camp has yielded to the Congress party. Mamata Banerjee withdrew the candidate she had fielded for the Nandigram Assembly constituency today. Following this, she announced her support for the Congress in that constituency and stated her intention to strengthen the ‘INDIA’ alliance.
