To increase IT job opportunities in South Tamil Nadu, the state government has invited tenders to build mini Tidel Parks in Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Virudhunagar. Each park is expected to create 500–1000 IT jobs, helping local youths work in their hometowns instead of migrating to big cities.
